About / Bio
Zita graduated from Kingston University with a BA in Drama and Film followed by an MA in Advanced Theatre Practice at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

She worked as an artistic director of Larry’s Goodbye Theatre Company and Assistant Director in film & TV (Frankenweenie, London Boulevard, The Look of Love, Downton Abbey, Bad Education and others).

Since 2013, Zita has been working in casting – as a casting director in her own right as well as an assistant / associate for other casting directors.
Her casting credits include Peter Lee Scott’s Colours, Sketch and His Name Was Gerry, Michael Francis Williams’ Stay Woke and Anti-Gravity Love and Garry Simpson’s Regarding Annabel.

Zita is currently a Casting Director with ET Casting. The team have recently won the Best Casting of a Film and Drama at CDA Awards 2021 for Paul Dood’s Deadly Lunch Break. ET Casting’s next film project is Swede Caroline, featuring the best of British comedy talent, set to come out in late 2022.
She is currently working on Peter Lee Scott’s debut feature film (in development).

Zita is a board member of the CDA and a provisional member of the CDG. She is an advocate for representation and gender balance on British screen.
